Terms of use
Draft terms explaining what the site does and what remains the user's responsibility.
Review before public launch
These starter terms are not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer. Add the operating entity, contact details, governing law, dispute terms, and any required consumer provisions before launch.
What the site provides
POD Starter provides educational guides, comparison notes, planning checklists, and calculators for print-on-demand beginners. It does not operate a marketplace, print products, process marketplace orders, or act as your lawyer, accountant, tax adviser, insurer, or business partner.
Your decisions remain yours
You are responsible for the products you create, the rights to every word and visual you use, the accuracy of your listings, current marketplace rules, production-partner disclosures, taxes, pricing, customer support, returns, and any agreement you make with a provider or buyer.
A completed checklist means that you recorded the checks shown by the product. It does not mean that a marketplace, rights holder, regulator, or court has approved your listing.
Estimates and changing information
Profit, fee, demand, production, and shipping results are estimates based on the values entered and the sources available on the displayed review date. Fees, exchange rates, taxes, provider prices, catalog availability, production times, and marketplace policies can change without notice.
Check the linked official source before publishing or making a material spending decision.
External services
Marketplaces, providers, design tools, and other linked services are independent third parties. Their names and marks are used only to identify them and do not imply endorsement or partnership. Their terms, prices, availability, content licenses, service quality, and decisions are outside this site's control.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to infringe intellectual property, evade marketplace rules, distribute malware, interfere with the service, scrape it in a way that degrades access, or misrepresent an estimate as a guaranteed result.
Availability and changes
The site and its content may be corrected, changed, or removed. A production operator should add appropriate warranty, liability, suspension, and termination terms after obtaining advice for its entity, jurisdiction, and actual service model.
