How to sell with Qikink without losing margin to COD and RTO
Qikink can print and ship one order in India without inventory. The spreadsheet gets harder when GST, cash on delivery, and a returned parcel all touch the same sale.

Choose Qikink for an India-first order flow
Choose Qikink for an India-focused store that needs local production, prepaid delivery, cash on delivery, and return-to-origin handling in one workflow.
The catalog spans apparel, accessories, wall art, and other goods. Match one exact SKU, print method, destination pin code, and sales channel before expanding.
Choose another provider when your main buyers and operations sit outside India. Qikink's payment examples, COD flow, tax tables, and return process are built around Indian commerce.
Check the fit:
Follow the money through COD and RTO

The COD cash path
- 1
Customer places COD order
Your store receives the order, but the customer has not paid yet.
- 2
You fund fulfillment
Qikink deducts product, print, shipping, and applicable charges from wallet credits.
- 3
Qikink ships
The courier attempts delivery and collects the retail amount if accepted.
- 4
Money or parcel returns
Delivered COD funds are remitted later. An undelivered parcel enters the RTO flow.
Wallet credits are required even for COD fulfillment. Qikink's return policy allows an RTO parcel to be held for 100 days; reshipping adds handling, GST, and shipping. Model both endings before you accept COD.
Verify the order flow:
Launch one order path before enabling automation
- 1
Choose one SKU and print method
Record the product code, size range, print technique, artwork dimensions, and GST rate from the current tables.

Connect one store
Set up Shopify or WooCommerce and confirm how orders enter the Qikink dashboard. Keep manual approval on during the first test.
- 3
Fund a small wallet balance
Add only enough credits for the sample and first controlled orders. Qikink requires sufficient credits before it will fulfill them.
- 4
Write a real COD policy
Decide where COD is available, whether you will confirm an order, and what happens when a customer refuses delivery.
- 5
Place a prepaid sample
Use the final file and destination. Check the product, print, branded packing, invoice data, tracking, and delivery time.
- 6
Watch the first order manually
Verify address, pin-code serviceability, selected payment type, charged credits, and tracking before allowing automatic volume.
Keep the live workflow open while you set up:
Add GST, print area, COD, and failure cost
| Decision | What to verify |
|---|---|
| Fulfillment charge | Pay per fulfilled order with no deposit |
| Production route | In-house production. India |
| Branding | Labels, hang tags, inserts, and white-label packaging. |
| Store connection | Etsy, Shopify, WooCommerce |
Run these checks with one exact product and destination:
- Add the current product price and GST rate for the SKU.
- Calculate print cost from the method, minimum charge, and artwork area.
- Quote forward shipping, COD collection, and handling charges for the route.
- Add store, payment-gateway, tax-compliance, and branding costs.
- Model the wallet cash needed before prepaid or COD fulfillment starts.
- Run a second total for RTO handling, storage, and a possible reshipment.
Check current costs and billing:
Collect the evidence a seven-day claim needs
Order the version a buyer will receive, then record the result:
- Check that the delivered blank, size, color, and print method match the listing.
- Wash the item and check DTG or DTF placement and color again.
- Check the parcel for the promised labels, inserts, invoice, and white-label details.
- Compare tracking events and pin-code serviceability with checkout.
- Confirm that a defect can be documented with photos, original packing, and an unboxing video.
- If you arrange a test return, confirm that it appears correctly in the returns tab.
Read the current sample or issue policy:
Treat RTO as inventory you already paid for
Qikink's headline product price is not the fulfillment total. GST varies by SKU, and printing has a separate minimum or area-based charge. Add shipping, COD, handling, branding, and store costs.
RTO is a cash and inventory event. Qikink holds returned orders for 100 days. Reshipping adds handling with GST and a new shipping charge; untouched items are discarded after the window.
Defect evidence has a short clock. Qikink asks for a claim within seven days of delivery, with an unboxing video, photos, and original packaging. Wrong-size and non-defective returns stay at the seller's expense.

A few common questions
Is Qikink free to join?
Qikink does not require a product subscription or inventory purchase for its normal POD model. You still need sufficient wallet credits to fund production and shipping before an order is fulfilled.
How does Qikink cash on delivery work?
You fund the fulfillment charge first. The customer pays the courier on delivery, then the courier remits the money to Qikink. Qikink transfers the collected COD amount as credits or a bank transfer under its current process.
How should I protect a Qikink COD margin?
Include product, print area, GST, shipping, COD and handling charges, store fees, and an RTO reserve. The margin should absorb one failed delivery and a possible reshipment.
What happens when a Qikink order becomes RTO?
Qikink sends the undelivered parcel to its return address. Its current policy says the item can be held for 100 days for reshipment, with handling, GST, and shipping costs. Unused returned stock is discarded after the window.
How long do I have to report a Qikink defect?
The current returns policy says to submit a damaged, misprinted, or defective-product request within seven days of delivery. It asks for an unboxing video, photos, and the original packaging. Check the live policy before promising a remedy.
